The Week in Review

A few brief snippets of goings-on:

  • The guitar now has strings, which I bought at a local music store, and I’ve been playing nightly. Too bad my callouses are gone.
  • Yesterday, I visited the National Gallery and took in more than my share of 19th and 20th Century art. I didn’t know this beforehand, but that museum has a whole section of French art, with a pretty nice collection of Rodin, my favorite artist. I even got to see The Bronze Age in person! I was stoked. And it looked much better standing in front of me.

  • I played Pictionary with a few of my fellow hostellers two nights ago. My team lost, though by the end we had degenerated into just going around the board continuously.
  • I heard some songs by The Ecstacy of Saint Theresa, a Czech band, on the radio at Sir Toby’s. They reminded me a bit of Petracovich. So I got a new CD for about $4.
  • I’m hungry, so I’m going to go eat now, and then head over to the Prague Transport Museum.

I just wanted to let you know that an American girl really enjoys reading your blog, and exploring your site.

Have some fun for me in Prague.
