Apple interviews

I’ve applied for three positions at everyone’s favorite fruit company, and I’m several weeks along in the process. Next step: a bevy of in-person interviews. I’m leaving here Thursday night and starting the process on Friday morning at 9am.

I knew I’d be interviewing, but I didn’t really have any idea of the scale of interviews until this morning. I’m going to be talking with 28 different people over two days (Friday and Monday)! Most of them are in groups of two, but still. That’s a lot of time with a lot of important people.

Here’s hoping something comes of this!

Hi Nick, I don’t really remember how I came across your site, but its really great. I didn’t see anywhere else to leave comments so I’m just posting in your blog. The songs you posted have been really helpful in my search for new and interesting music, thanks for posting some of the actual songs too. Since I learned about a bunch of new music from you and we have very similar tastes (death cab is my favorite band), I thought I would share a band I came across lately called “The Decemberists”. Their songs are third-person folk narratives and use a lot of antiquated vocabulary and acoustic guitar. Some good songs are “The Gymnast, High Above the Ground”, “Shiny”, and “California One, Youth and Beauty Brigade.” If you need me to send a couple songs I’d be more than happy to. Since you seem to enjoy substance in lyrics, you should really enjoy The Decemberists. Thanks again for your site.
